It is far and near. It is inside all of this, also beyond everything. I am unborn and undecaying, without beginning and without end. I am the unchangeable bliss of consciousness, smaller than small, greater than great. Existing even before the beginning, I am everlasting, radiant, and pure. I am beyond space, immovable blissful and imperishable. Guru Om, Guru Om, Guru Om

The Guru is indeed Parabrahma (the Supreme Self). To that revered Guru I bow down. By whose knowledge this world is not seen as divided by differences, The one true form of forms: To that revered Guru I bow down. To the One whose thought is not known, whose knowledge is not thought, The One whose state of being originates in none other: To that revered Guru I bow down. To the one who illuminates the form of cause and that of effect, The One who is the form of both cause and effect: To that revered Guru I bow down. All this world appears in various forms but for the Guru there is no difference among them; cause and effect are the same. To that revered Guru I bow down.

Indeed, just as the individual Self merges with the Supreme Self, In the same way, one who knows the truth Delights in his oneness, wherever he is, day or night. The wise person makes every effort To live always with love and devotion In this manner, one is fully liberated.

about

THIS TRUTH, a collaborative album between Tania Alexandra (Gitali) and Collective Acoustics, fluently blends the ancient lyrics of Sanskrit with tranquil and ambient harmonies to construct an intentionally modern, but seemingly timeless spiritual tone. Just as the practice of Yoga continues to evolve, these artists have put forth sacredly antiquated mantras into a harmonically rich formation. The sound is trancelike. Its mixing of kirtan chants, acoustic beats, and serene but stimulating galvanic undertones work together to draw out peaceful spirits. The project’s organic development, through its free form exploration in song writing and production, has culminated in a collection of intimate spiritual expressions; ones of healing, of subtle revelation, and of the mystically unfolding nature of contemplation. The artists’ experimentation in dynamic musical integration has given rise to a euphonic work that will appeal to each listener’s own sense of meditative harmony.
